Letter to my hostfamily revisions

My name is Motohisa. I’m 19 years old. I live in Fukuoka. I am cheerful and active. I like sports, especially soccer. I belong to a soccer club in junior high school. My hobby is listening to music, I especially like reggae. I also like animals because I have a dog as a pet. My pet’s name is Kazu. He is a Japanese dog.
My favorite kind of food is Japanese food. I have no likes and dislikes about food. I want to go eating hamburger to McDonald’s because, I want to compare American hamburgers with Japanese ones.
My family has eight people, my father, mother, two brothers, a sister, Grandfather, Grandmother and me. I’m the youngest of the four children. My Father is an engineer. My mother is a pharmacist. My oldest brother is a businessman. My second brother is a college student. He studies economics. My sister is a college student, too. She studies economics. We are all good friends. We camp every summer and go to a hot spring every winter.
I learn English in college but English well. So I go to America to learn speaking with many people. I think this is a good chance for me. I have been to Australia and China but I have never gone to America. I want to compare American life to Japanese life. I have some images of America. For example, there are many big cities and country side. Chiefly, America has freedom. I’m especially attracted to old American cars because they are bigger than Japanese cars. I want to ride them. I hope this chance is good memory for me. I’m looking forward to going to America.
